Midland Power Cooperative is an electrical distribution cooperative located in central Iowa.

In business since 1937, Midland Power is a member-owned, non-profit electric cooperative that provides reliable, competitively priced electric energy to businesses, industries, farms and homes in all or portions of 13 counties.

In addition to serving Boone, Calhoun, Dallas, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hardin, Marshall, Polk, Story and Webster counties, Midland Power also provides electrical power to five municipal utilities: Dayton, Ellsworth, Lehigh, Paton and Stratford.
Midland Power has three strategically located service centers in the communities of Iowa Falls, Boone and Jefferson and a headquarters office based in Jefferson. Local professionals who are committed to providing superior service work at all locations.

Midland Power serves approximately 9,200 households, businesses and organizations that purchase more than 237 million kilowatt-hours annually.

A dedicated board of directors elected by members makes strategic decisions about rates, service reliability, investments and other important issues such as allocating year-end margins.
